SK Godelius participated in Mining Transformed 2026, held from May 25 to 27 at the NORCAT Underground Centre in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

Organized by NORCAT, the event brought together mining companies, technology providers, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the technologies shaping the future of mining through live demonstrations, technical discussions, and industry collaboration.

Throughout the event, the SK Godelius team welcomed visitors to its booth in the main building, where attendees learned more about the company’s latest developments in robotics, AI, autonomous inspection, remote operations, and intelligent systems for mining.

The team showcased how end-to-end robotic solutions are helping mining operations improve safety, reliability, and operational continuity through applications such as autonomous conveyor belt inspection, predictive maintenance, multimodal data collection, and autonomous field operations. Visitors also had the opportunity to discuss how advanced sensing technologies and AI-driven analytics are transforming operational data into actionable insights that support faster and more informed decision-making.

Mining Transformed 2026 provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with mining professionals, strengthen relationships with industry partners, and discuss the challenges and opportunities driving the next generation of mining technologies.

SK Godelius thanks everyone who visited the booth and contributed to the many engaging conversations throughout the event. We look forward to continuing these discussions and collaborating with the industry to advance safer, smarter, and more autonomous mining operations.
