SK Godelius participated in Mapla-Mantemin, one of the mining industry’s leading technical events in Chile.

Held at the Sheraton Hotel in Santiago, the event brought together professionals and companies focused on innovation, maintenance, operational efficiency, and new technologies for mining.

During the event, the SK Godelius team shared how robotics, artificial intelligence, and multimodal data are transforming asset inspection and maintenance strategies in mining operations through autonomous and AI-powered systems already operating in the field.

As part of the conference program, Mauricio Ramirez from SK Godelius presented the talk “Condition Monitoring in Conveyor Belts through Multimodal Robotic Inspection.”

During the presentation, he explained how the combination of robotics, advanced sensors, and data analysis can support early fault detection and improve operational reliability in conveyor belt systems. The session generated valuable discussions and questions from attendees, connecting directly with real operational challenges faced by the industry.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the presentation and visited our stand during the event. Conversations like these continue to reinforce the growing role of intelligent robotic systems in improving safety, reliability, and predictive maintenance in mining operations.
