With the attendance of almost a hundred guests, all of the mining industry protagonists, was celebrated the seventh anniversary of SK Godelius, a company of the Sigdo Koppers Group at Quinta Nicolasa de Las Condes.

The robotic platform Godelius X had special prominence. Attendees could appreciate its operation. It should be noted that Godelius X has an open architecture based on ROS (Robotic Operating System), multitasking and adapting to mining operations’ hardness. Its nodes (arm, hand, fingers, etc.) have numerous degrees of freedom, and the whole is designed to be operated remotely.

For example, the one that arises from the interaction between robots and human beings “.

On the other hand, the general manager of the Sigdo Koppers Group, Juan Pablo Aboitiz, stated that “SK Lab has been developed through SK Godelius, a collaborative program aimed at supporting the group’s companies in their rapid adoption of the new emerging paradigms. The SK Group has positioned itself as an early protagonist of this new era.”
