Today, November 15th, SK Godelius proudly showcased its teleoperation expertise at Robopalooza 2024, held in the Mojave Desert, California. Organized by leading players developing solutions for space exploration, the event provided a unique platform to demonstrate cutting-edge robotics technology.
Operating the 700-pound Helelani rover, developed by the University of Hawai’i at Hilo, our team remotely navigated the rugged, lunar-like terrain from our headquarters in Santiago, Chile. This achievement highlighted the transformative potential of telepresence technology, enabling precise and safe control of robotic systems across vast distances, even in the most challenging environments.
By successfully completing the circuit, SK Godelius reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, pushing the boundaries of remote operation and robotics for both Earth and space applications.
We thank IEEE and all participants for the opportunity to collaborate in advancing space-inspired technologies. Stay tuned as we continue shaping the future of robotics and teleoperation!
