Aldo qualified as an Economist at the University of the Republic of Uruguay. He held a master’s degree in Economics and a Specialist in Applied Macroeconomics from the Catholic University of Chile. He has developed extensive financial and economic consulting experience throughout his career, monitoring the local, regional and international juncture, managing research teams, developing econometric models, and publishing economic reports. Besides, Aldo participates as a columnist or interviewed in the media of Uruguay and Chile. He is a consultant to companies and financial, journalistic and governmental entities in Chile and Uruguay. And he has been closely linked to academic activities as a professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
